Attorney Christopher Lattuca

Christopher Lattuca

Direct: 1-585-278-6079

Christopher counsels individuals and businesses on a broad array of legal matters affecting their interests, represents them in litigation in both federal and state courts, and structures and negotiates real estate and commercial transactions.

Christopher’s experience includes representing clients in a litany of litigation matters, including breach of contract, business torts, insurance coverage disputes, trade secret violations, partner disputes, employment litigation, and a host of other commercial and non-commercial matters. Christopher’s litigation philosophy prioritizes early case analysis, so he can identify and manipulate leverage points which may be used to compel early resolution, where possible, or, in the alternative, to gain the upper hand through discovery and into trial.

Christopher’s litigation background informs how he counsels his clients. His understanding of how and where transactions go awry allows him to better advise his clients on all issues impacting their legal interests. Christopher believes in identifying problems before they happen, so he can counsel his clients on means and methods to better conduct their business. Christopher provides a range of corporate legal services for clients of all sizes and forms, including acting as corporate counsel, negotiating transactions with companies and foreign governments, accessing capital, maintaining daily operations with robust contracts and agreements, and forming business entities.

Christopher maintains an international and cross-border practice that assists U.S. businesses with their foreign interests. In this respect, he guides his clients’ lobbying efforts and real estate development strategies, and, in some cases, negotiate directly with foreign governments on various business ventures. Christopher helps his clients navigate the complex considerations of cross-border business deals and works with local counsel to ensure his clients’ goals are achieved.

Christopher also guides his clients through the purchase of commercial and residential real estate property. Chris understands that the property buying experience, while cause for celebration, can also be difficult and overwhelming. He prides himself in making the process as simple and stress free as possible for his clients.

Christopher completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont. After graduation, he spent a year at the University of Rochester as a Visiting Instructor, where he coached the debate team. He taught his students the fundamentals of speech, debate, and argumentation.

Christopher attended law school at Syracuse University, where he graduated with honors. In law school, he served as Executive Editor on the Syracuse Law Review and was a member of the Parliamentary Debate Society, Law Review, and Moot Court Honor Society.

Christopher is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York and the United States District Court, Eastern, Western, and Northern Districts.
